Springfield goes into 'Overdrive' on album

General Hospital soap star Rick Springfield still has it as far as his latest release Venus in Overdrive (New Door Records). The "Jessie's Girl" singer still has it with some of the most interesting yet, subtle lyrics that have been written by Springfield in his more than 30 year career.

Springfield has withstood the test of time far better than most critics would ever have imagined writing and performing some of the best-crafted power pop. He has sold more than 19 million records while charting a whopping 18 Top 40 hits to date.
