Gnarls Barkley are the 'Odd Couple' & Gracin goes 'Crazy'

Riding high on the success of its single, "Crazy" duo Gnarls Barkley return with the album The Odd Couple (Atlantic Records) and the result is no sophomore slump here. The album only continue where St. Elsewhere leaves off.

The song to listen to over and over is "Run" because of its music and those lyrics.

After delivering a gold-selling debut and three consecutive top 5 singles to country radio, "American Idol" favorite Josh Gracin will release his much anticipated sophomore album, We Weren't Crazy (Lyric Street).

Gracin's new CD, allows audiences to take a more personal look inside the life of the "American Idol" season 2 finalist and former Marine. Josh worked with producers Marty Williams and Brett James on the CD's 11 tracks.

Gracin is admittedly most excited about his newest single, the title track, "We Weren't Crazy." The autobiographical song was written by Gracin, Tony Lopacinski, and Bobby Pinson about Gracin's personal journey from childhood to raising children and having a family of his own.

Gracin's debut album is certified gold by the RIAA and has sold more than 695,000 copies. He's one of only three new male country singers to be introduced in the last four years to earn a gold album. Gracin is also the only male solo country artist in recent years to release a debut album with three consecutive Top 5 country hits, including his first #1, "Nothin' To Lose."

Miley Cryus wants to 'See You Again'

Here is something I thought I would NEVER say. I actually like a Miley Cryus song and this being the latest single, "See You Again" from The Best of Both Worlds Concert (CD + DVD)Soundtrack (Disney Records). What is it? Basically it is Cryus' solo chorus through this lyrics:

I got my sights set on you, and I'm ready to aim
I have a heart that will never be tamed
I knew you were somethin' special, when you spoke my name
Now I can't wait to see you again

((Verse 2))
I've got a way of knowin' when something is right
I feel like a must of known you in another life
Cause I felt this deep connection, when you looked in my eyes
Now I can't wait to see you again

If the verses don't get to you then once you heard this song, it WILL. I thought that the singing and dancing will get to me. There is a general flow to the song, and with the lyrics what person doesn't want to this for someone whom gets them? Liar, if you say not you.

Madonna and Justin only have '4 minutes'

The first time that I listened to the Madonna and Justin Timberlake duet for the Queen of Pop's new song, "4 Minutes (To Save the World)" off her April 29 released album Hard Candy (Warner Bros. Records) I had to admit that I love the other song, "The Beat Goes On" and "Candy Store." Yet, (as always) after having several listens to the new song, "4 Minutes" is dance friendly and different.

The 49-year-old star who will release the last LP under the Warner label before embarking for a 10-year committment to Live Nation, sounds better than she more than 25 years old. Gone is the helium voice, thanks in large part to the vocal training for the 1996 film, "Evita." Enter now, and you have a woman who is confident and nearly untouchable in the music relm of her career.

There is a share of the spotlight between Timberlake and Madonna throughout the song and its lyrics:

M: Hey boy, now what, you are not that bad
anticipating to get what i want (and I ain't gonna stop)

J: Hey Girl, i m whatcha want, i'm alone
and waiting to make you my own (i will make you my own)

M: Everybody, come and go,
i hope you stay for a while
i know that smile

J: Heygirl, I m ok with that,you and me, that's what
I am ready to go
Are you ready to go

If you want it
You already got it
If you’ve got it
It better be what you want
If you feel it
It must be real, just
Say the word and
Imma give you what you want

It is the song, following the smash hit, "Hung Up" and yet, with a urban style...I love it.
